Ever since the beginning of this month, the DJ has been looking forward to her birthday. It came early morning of the day, we woke up with a very touching and inspirational birthday message from her to herself. Lamiez refers herself as the black Princess Warrior, saying Princess are gentle, whist Warriors are strong, villified, dark yet brave.

The message was also referring to every young black women out there. That they should become a hero that they desperately need as a child. To redefine what princess is and break every box that society may try to channel themselves in.

Late night celebration, the theme was dress as your favourite movie character. The miss party dressed as Pocahontas, representing her princess warrior theme. To me, Lamiez Holworthy really has what it takes to be labelled as a warrior princess. She saved herself so many times, stood against bullies. Proved many times that she is strong, full of fight and she always wins.
