Ayanda Borotho is a South African actress best known for her role as Phumelele Zungu on Mzansi Magic drama Isibaya. She also played the title role in the SABC 1 comedy Nomzamo, from 2007-2010. The actress recently turned 42 and had a party where she celebrated with her family and close friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The venue didn’t have a specific theme, however it was decorated with lots of white balloons and flowers. There was also a decorated dining table where everyone sat.

During the event, Ayanda’s daughter Ayaphiwa gave a special speech for her mom and the actress admitted she was in tears.

Another person who attended and gave a speech was actor Nhlanhla Mdlalose. Nhlanhla and Ayanda are close and has also worked together on Isibaya where Nhlanhla played the role of Bongani.

Legendary actress Sthandiwe Kgoroge and Nomzamo Mbatha were also in attendance.

A funny moment at the party was when Ayanda changed the age number displayed on the cake from 42 to 24 by swapping numbers.
