Inside Basetsana And Romeo Kumalo’s R25 Million Palace

Coming home again has a great way of making you feel even better than you did before you went. Your heart will always be in the place you call home.

Basetsana Julia “Bassie” Kumalo is a successful businesswoman, philanthropist, and television personality from South Africa.

Basetsana started her professional career in 1990, at the age of 16, after winning the titles of Miss Soweto and Miss Black South Africa. She finished in second place at the Miss World pageant the same year she was named Miss South Africa.

She began seeing businessman and investor Romeo Kumalo in 1997, and the two got married in 2000. They already had three children!

The family has settled in this lovely property in Midrand’s Saddlebrook Estate (Johannesburg).

Their ideal home took two years and R25 million to build.

You’ll enter this huge entryway with two opulent staircases rising up to the top stories as you approach the main part of the house.

This is one of Basetsana’s favorite places in the house, as seen by the regular posting of photos shot there on her Instagram.

The family won’t ever feel crowded in this home thanks to the two dining rooms and five living spaces.

There are 11 dining spaces available in the dining area.

In the wine cellar, Romeo invites his buddies over for a cigar and scotch tasting.

The large kitchen’s magnificent island serves as its centerpiece.

Bedrooms:

The residence has five bedrooms. The master bedroom includes two dressing rooms, a salon, and a parlor with a bar in addition to a large balcony with views of the exquisitely planted yard.

This is the pinnacle of extravagance, in my opinion. The size of the bathroom is comparable to several studio units.

Modern biometric access control technology that uses fingerprint recognition and is active around-the-clock protects the property.

Both estate management and the Kumalos’ neighbors have given them favorable reviews.
