Somizi learned a thing or two from Riky Rick, and decided to do this to give back

Somizi has taken to his social media page after he had woke-up with a heavy heart yesterday because of Riky Rick’s burial . He took a video of himself explaining how life is too short and how he can makeup and takeover where Riky Rick left off .

 

 

 

 

He said he will start off by giving hugs to anyone who sees him anywhere . It can be in a mall or any place where you get to see him. Fans will be allowed to take pictures or even hug Somizi on their own terms for free. He said he won’t be needing anything and won’t be acting somehow towards his fans . This is his way of trying to live up with Rikys words as many others celebrities are trying to take Riky’s last words seriously.

To those who are not sure what Riky’s inspiring words were, they should start checking out his latest songs . As I wrote this article, Bathu SA also decided to honour him by designing a new Sneaker with Riky’s picture on it and a message that goes like “we don’t die but we multiply”. The love and respect Riky has received from South Africa is amazing. And if he managed to move people by his love for the young ones and caring so much about their future , surely many celebrities can change for the better . Fans also started making comments on Somizi’s post saying that they do need those hugs even if it’s just being sent on the internet.

Opinion:

Like Somizi’s first step into changing his life and honouring Riky , I think South African youth can benefit a lot from celebrities as they look up to them . What Somizi has started is a great Initiative and it shows that he is ready to let go of his life and not look down on his fans . It will be difficult to do what riky used to do but at least he has taught many celebrities the importance of life .
