There were numerous reports of high-profile deaths among South African celebrities in 2022. The fact that the perpetrators have not yet been apprehended means that more people will be killed. Cassper Nyovest just yesterday mentioned increasing his security to prove that something is wrong. Yesterday night, the news that the legendary AKA had been shot dead rocked the entire world. He was having dinner with friends when she was murdered there.

A video of a prophecy posted in January is now doing the rounds after his death. The prophet in the video said that 2023 will be a terrible year in which many people, especially celebrities, will be killed. After AKA’s death, the video circulated online, and many commented that the prophet must have been right: so many high-profile deaths have occurred so far this year, and most of them have included firearms.

Some people think the prophet acted in a self-serving manner. I agree with the prophet that many terrible things are occurring in South Africa, including the murders of famous people, women, and children. This prophet has let us down; instead of just telling us what would happen, she should have told us what we can do to prevent it.
