IMBEWU The Seed actors angry at Meshack Mavuso, he made fun of us and he’s happy we lost our jobs

Meshack Mavuso, an actor, has caused irritation for Duma Ndlovu, the executive producer, as well as the actors of Imbewu: The Seed.

The outraged performers said that Mavuso had made fun of them on stage by singing a well-known song called “Yawa Lembewu,” which translates to “The seed has fallen.”

There are rumors that he sang this song at the album launch party for Smokes and Mirrors. According to a source who spoke to the Daily Sun, Ndlovu’s feelings were so hurt by Meshack’s behavior that he expressed his worry in a letter to e.tv.

The videos have also been viewed by Daily Sun. Mavuso, who also appears in Smoke and Mirrors, can be seen in the video clip leading the audience in a song they are singing together. The group as a whole then breaks out into an uproarious laughter.

“I saw the clip, and it hurt me,” claimed one actor, who requested that his name not be used. Mavuso appears to be happy with the fact that I just was fired from my job. It is unclear to me whether or not he was conscious of the anguish he was inflicting upon us, but I assume that this has brought it to his attention. It demonstrates that he takes pleasure in our predicament. Additionally, it demonstrates that, behind closed doors, they are pleased that our production is no longer running.”

Another actor was quoted as saying, “I understand that he was at an event and excited, but he could have chosen another song. He made an obvious joke about us. I can’t help but get the impression that he was being spiteful and callous toward all of us working on the Imbewu show, including our roles as actors.

I really hope that the productions he’s working on right now will never get scrapped. As we speak, I do not have employment. My sole means of financial support came from Imbewu, and I was unaware that some individuals looked forward to the company going out of business.

The Daily Sun attempted to get in touch with Mavuso and Duma, but neither of them answered their phones nor reacted to any text messages sent to them.

Bennum Van Jaarsveld, who works in the corporate communications department for e.tv, has confirmed the occurrence and stated that the company has already consulted with Ndlovu.

“Regarding this particular issue, we have been in communication with Duma Ndlovu, the show’s creator and executive producer. We are confident that the event to which you allude did not result from any planning on the part of eMedia; rather, it was the result of a rash decision made by Meshack Mavuso-Magabane, which at the time was beyond our ability to influence.”

“We are aware of the delicate nature of the situation, but we do not believe that we could have handled the matter any better.”

The first episode of Smoke and Mirrors aired on Monday, April 17th. It was a replacement for Imbewu.
