Imani from Muvhango shows off her son ❤️
Her full name is Siziwe Ntombizonke Mchunu. And she was raised by her mother who was a cleaner at Zonke’s former high school. Her father died when she was 11 and she has four older sisters and one brother, who’s the youngest of everyone.

 

The actress joined Muvhango in 2015 and has been playing the role of Imani for almost seven years. Before landing the role of Imani, she had appeared in several commercials but nothing significant.
Zonke, who has now established herself in the industry, revealed that she went into the industry because she was passionate about acting and not looking for fame. Said Zonke,
“I was never in it for the fame,” she says.
“For me, acting has always been a passion and I have come a long way.” When she started acting on Muvhango, she was a little intimidated by the experienced actors.
“I was working with experienced actors like Sindi Dlathu, Lillian Dube and they helped me to relax and to be a better actress and I couldn’t have been more privileged,” Zonke says.
She also revealed that some people find it hard to differentiate between Imani, her character on Muvhango and Zonke, the real-life person. In 2021, Zonke was attacked by a fan of Muvhango in public. The bitter fan accused her of being a homewrecker on the show and wanted to discipline her for that.
