Kaizer Chiefs Football Club star, Eric Mathoho who lost his father back in January 2021 due to covid-19 related complications knows a thing or two about celebrating his Father and showing how much he appreciates him.
Before his father’s untimely death back in 2021 Mathoho always spent as much as possible time with him due to the love and appreciation he had towards him, and that was seen in pictures the two took and how highly the 32-year-old spoke of him.
The South African male senior international has just spent his second Father’s Day without his father in his life, having spent 30 ones with him before and that has been the one thing that has hurt Tower lately.
His father, Johannes Ntshavheni Mathoho not being with Mathoho’s family physically has not stopped the family to celebrate him and the legacy he has left, as yesterday the Chiefs star alongside his family went to visit him in his resting place.
The Chiefs towering central defender was spotted in a picture he shared on his Instagram story, @tower003 cleaning the grave of his late father alongside his family members.
This is the greatest honour that Eric and his family can show to his late father, as for me, cleaning and looking after his resting place will see him look down on them and continue to bless them beyond his grave.
A great way for the Mathoho’s to remember their father during this world-celebrated day, may his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
