“I’m struggling to go to the toilet & I can’t walk for 3 month – actress Dawn Thandeka (Mangcobo

“On April 16th, 2021, while doing what I love most in the world, a terrible accident occurred,” she posted on Instagram.

She stated. In April, she sustained a horrific knee injury on set. Dawn Thandeka stated that she needed surgery.

She says in the video, “It’s been such a trying month already, and we’re only on day 4/5… In April, I damaged my knee on set, and as a result, I was unable to walk for three months.

“After the physio, that’s why you could see all of my images in one location. I didn’t want people to know I was injured because I required self-healing. It was a trying time mentally; I was exhausted and dejected since I was unable to do anything.”

The actress admitted that the last several months have been trying. She stated that she was unable to move at all and that at one time, she need assistance going to the bathroom.

She stated that she withheld information about what occurred in order to allow herself time to recuperate.

 

“However, it has been a good four months in which I have been confined to my bedroom, unable to move. There was a time when simply going to the bathroom or having a shower was considered a mission. I required transportation to the shower and bathroom. That was the most exhausting and terrible time of my life.

“So I chose to keep it to myself and give myself time to recuperate because being immobile when you are used to moving and being hands-on is quite frustrating,” she explained.

Dawn Thandeka also debunked pregnancy rumors and stated categorically that she is not quitting acting.

“Another thing I want to clarify is that I am not pregnant; I wish I were, but I simply have a knee problem that I have been attempting to explain to people.”
