The elderly woman shared her pride and joy with her grandson’s achievements in a Castle Lager advertisement.In the heartwarming clip, gogo Themba spoke fondly of her grandson, Bongi Mbonambi.

 

She said: “It’s wonderful when I see him. He often visits when he is around. I would tell him he has gone far and he must never give up

Becoming emotional, she added: “Playing for the country…I’m so happy.“Even at church, there are many boys who want to play rugby, because of Bongi. I am proud of him. And I know South Africa is proud of him.”

The Springboks vs Romania Rugby World Cup game will take place on Sunday, 17 September, at the Bordeaux Stadium in France.
