Media personality and Idols judge Unathi Nkayi is truly a jack of all trades. She has been in the entertainment industry for a lot of years doing a lot of things and be successful at all of them.

Over the last couple of years we have seen her try out some new things and I must say that it has been great. She is one of the best radio presenters in this country .

She started on Metro FM working alongside Glen and Melanie Bala. For years they have kept us entertained on the airwaves. They had a lovely chemistry and worked very well together.

As people grow older priorities change and they move on to other places for something better. Unathi Nkayi left Metro FM and she in now part of the Khaya FM family.

On the station she is keeping up with her great work ethics. She has met people and made friends along the way. I must say that she’s friends with a lot of people in the industry.Amongst her list of friends is non other than the funny entertainer Skhumba. Skhumba has been around for a few years and I must say that he has been a joy.

Skhumba is without doubt one of South Africa’s finest comedians. His stand up comedies are the best. He has gained a strong following over the last few years.

Skhumba has grown so much in the last few years that it’s hard not say his name and have someone not remember one of his funny jokes. Especially the ones he did live on radio.

The last few years a lot of people having been tuning into Khaya FM every Friday morning just so they could listen to Skhumba make jokes on radio.

He is like no other and I could say that no one is off limits when it comes to him. He makes jokes about everyone, including his family and friends.He has been impeccable in delivering and if you haven’t been to one of his stand up shows then you have robbed yourself a chance to laugh till you run out of breath.

It looks like there’s more coming our way from the both of them as Skhumba now has his own show and so does Unathi.

We all know that Unathi Nkayi has a funny bone. This is something that has gotten her in hot water more than once when it comes to the Idols auditions.

Her laugh on the show is iconic because even when she tries to hide it, she always fails at it. She has a funny bone and that’s that. Now who better to be friends with other than the funny man himself Skhumba.

Unathi got a wonderful surprise when he showed up in studio whilst she was there. She said that she had asked him for photos but refused and with a little persuasion he agreed and I must say that they look like they had fun.
