The show is know for singing, people between sixteen(16) and thirty(30) years of age enter the competition in hopes of being South African Idol. The show is also known for the “wooden mic” singers, especially the funny ones. A lot of people that entered the competition when Randal was one of the judges, did not like him because of his feedback. “Randal was not lenient, it was hard to please/impress him”.

 

 

 

Season eighteen(18) started a few days ago, people were ready and happy to be part of it. Randal will not be Idols Judge this year, we have two new faces. The well known actress Thembi Seete and musician Jr are the two new faces. Somizi is also the judge, we have three judges for season eighteen(18). There are shades here and there but it is not that deep.

The next episode got people talking, there is a glimpse of what is apparently going to happen this coming Sunday circulating on twitter. In the clip, Somizi and Thembi are having an argument about “the other not allowing the other to finish talking when judging the singers/contestants”.

The argument got heated, Thembi even said “I am here to stay”. People noticed that Somizi allegedly said the F word, hence the Idols sticker on his lips. Twitter users are going crazy with the tweets, some people think Thembi and Somizi’s argument looks staged. Jr apparently did not intervine, what do you think about the video?
