On Thursday, May 11, 2023, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana and her co-accused will return to the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court for the start of a two-day bail hearing.

The disgraced celebrity doctor will rely on her new team of attorneys, former Legal Aid chief Machini Motloung and Advocate Frans Dlamini, to persuade the court that her conditional release would be in the interest of justice. She is accused of aiding and abetting Thabo Bester’s audacious jail break.

While Dr. Nandipha’s chances of getting bail are still slim, there is still some hope because, as state prosecutors revealed last week, she is no longer accused of killing Katlego Bereng, the dummy that Bester and his accomplices used to escape from Mangaung Prison in May 2022.

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, Magudumana, Senohe Matsoara, Teboho Lipholo, Tieho Makhotsa, and Nastassja Jansen will be back in court.

The Dr has arrived at court for her bail hearing and must say she looked beautiful as ever, with a dash of red lipstick, this caused a lot of stir on social media with some claiming they would do for her what she did for Thabo Bester, while others still couldn’t help but notice that she is wearing another Nike jersey.
