Iconic talk show host Felicia welcomes Ringo’s new music deal

On Wednesday, 13 September presenter and talk-show host Felicia Mabuza-Suttle took to her timelines and congratulated South African Afro-pop singer Ringo Madlingozi wholeheartedly after he secured a huge deal with Sony Music.

Sophiatown-born presenter and iconic TV host, Felicia Mabuza-Suttle is fortunate to have met a number of stars in her lifetime since hosting her popular talk show Felicia in the early 90s. She has since become an icon in Mzansi along with singer Ringo Madlingozi who has made several hits since the 90s. Recently, on her timelines, she congratulated Madlingozi who has just signed a deal with Sony Music.

Mabuza-Suttle then took a trip down memory lane and posed a video of one of the Ndiyagodola hitmaker’s performance on the set of the Felicia show.

“Thanks for gracing the #FeliciaShow a number of times in the 90s. Believe this appearance was in 1999. You rock🕺 🏾! Congrats #Ringo!” she added.
With his new deal with Sony, Ringo Madlingozi’s music will be released digitally for the first time, SowetanLIVE reported. It’s reported that all 13 of his albums will be released on streaming platforms. The Sondela hitmaker expressed his appreciation as he responded to Felicia Mabuza-Suttle’s lovely messages.

“Enkosi [thank you] Mama. I remember it was the time that you brought talk shows in our country, [and] for the first time on our televisions. Big ups to our legendary pioneer Mama,” Madlingozi wrote.

“What a wonderful time that was– when black & white, young & older South Africans came together to hold what I call an “indaba” or “lekgotla” on TV. It was a forum where we discovered new talent and showcased #Mzansi legends like yourself. Proud of you! Keep soaring! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾,” Mabuza-Suttle said
