Remember, the actor has shown repeated cases of poisoning.
“These days, I’m mostly skeptical because then I know people have helped me (poison) before,” the actor said in an exclusive interview on Sunday.
Okafor said he was still in Abuja recovering from the toxins in his body. “If it wasn’t for God, it would have been terrible. As I am talking to you right now, I am still receiving treatment somewhere in Gusapé, Abuja,” he said.
The actor also urged the government to step up efforts to protect filmmakers. He said: “I want the federal government to take action on this, whether we like it or not, we (the actors) are supporting the government. The films we make are for the public good. If the government wants to protect us better , they can.”
