“I thought it’s a joke, rest easy my friend” Sphesihle pays tribute to her friend Siyabonga

As soon as the news of Siyabonga Zubane’s passing were confirmed, people came out in numbers to pay tribute to him and send their heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

Of course, cast and crew members from Gomora were amongst these people because they worked quite closely to him and were hoping to see him harness his craft and take on more roles.

 

 

 
Sphesihle Ndaba, who was one of Siyabonga’s on-screen partner in crime, also left a message for the 23-year-old actor.

She wrote:

I’ve been waiting for the past 24hrs for you to call me and tell me you’re just kidding. Still no call. 💔[It hurts] Siya 💔 Thank you for leaving a piece of you with me after every scene. I love you [my friend]. ❤️🕊[Rest].

May she and all the other cast members find healing during this time. May he find the peace he couldn’t find in this world.
