Johannesburg – The proprietor of a beauty salon in Cape Town, South Africa, has disclosed that in November of 2022, he was employed by convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester and his fugitive girlfriend, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, to recruit girls for their modeling agency, imedia.

 

Taffy Tally Marz, aka “Talent,” a beauty therapist who operates an event management company and the Cape Town Nails Guru, which specializes in nails, manicures, and pedicures, spoke exclusively to Independent Media and revealed that Bester and Magudumana paid him handsomely for recruiting “beautiful girls” for them.

He said that when he was hired by the pair, he had no idea who Bester was, but that once it became public that the fugitive and his accomplice were the most wanted by law enforcement agencies in the country, he saw Bester on television.

When he was about to leave, he asked for my contact information so he could call and schedule a return visit. During our WhatsApp conversations, he extended an invitation to have lunch with him at the Silo Hotel, where he filled me in on his various business endeavors. He claimed to be involved in real estate and media projects.

To plait his hair, Bester began visiting my salon twice a week; three weeks after we first met, he mentioned that he would be bringing his wife and some of the people he introduced to me as Dr. Nandipha’s cousins.
