‘I need your prayers,’ says Millicent Makhado

Worrying about protecting others is one of our best and most natural instincts. It is normal to be scared or distressed when you hear about a disease outbreak. Being afraid of the virus means taking it seriously. One celebrity who expressed her fear was Millicent Makhado.

Taking to her Twitter page, the former Muvhango actress posted a picture of herself getting vaccinated and she captioned it:”Morning everyone. I need your prayers. Covid, 43 days ago I tested positive for covid-19 and today I finally went for the covid vaccine. Ndo tshuwesa.”

Her followers where quick to comment on the post. One Tweep said:”I’m so sorry to hear that Millicent. You have pulled through though for you to finally get vaccinated. God Is Great. Stay safe and stay healthy.”

“Do not be afraid. You’re going to be alright mommy. Sending you love and prayers,” said another Tweep. Fear is natural and normal reaction to the changing and uncertain situation that everyone finds themselves in.
