Why would these guys start by justifying his choice of a lady before people can start to comment. Who’s said people will comment anyway? It only shows that even himself he knows that the people are going to comment, it shows that even himself is not secured about his choice. If he’s so sure about his choice, then the comments of the people should not bring any insecurity to his choice.

 

He is the one that has chosen this woman, he is the one that had proposed her. He is the one that knows what he loves about her. He is the one who knows the reasons why he cannot leave her. He is the one that knows the pros and the cons of that relationship. So why would he think that people will comment negatively.
