Ukhozi FM Presenter Nonhlanhla ‘Mdonso’ Ngcobo who lost his brother Bhekisisa Ngcobo and who has recently lost her husband Mr Nathan Pottier on a car accident can’t even explain the pain she’s going through.
Bhekisisa was a business man and also owner of a community radio station Zululand FM. Nathan was also a Presenter at this radio station where he hosted religious shows. These incidents left many people feeling sorry and sad for Mdonso who hosts a show called Kwala Okungaliyo on Ukhozi FM.
Speaking to Isolezwe newspaper Mdonso stated that she and the family are still shocked by the Passing of his brother as it happened so fast.
‘He came at about 4am to see mum and tell her he’s not feeling well, he sat on the couch and asked us to open the door for air to come in. We opened the door and another brother of mine came and told us to take Bhekisisa to the hospital’
‘When we tried to take him to the hospital he refused and said hospitals now have strict rules because of the COVID-19, they don’t allow visitors that’s why he won’t go. My brother forced him to be taken to hospital but as we were inside the car he started foaming and shaking, he collapsed and was returned inside the house’.
‘While we were still praying he woke up and was rushed to hospital.’ Stated Mdonso.
She said they then received a call during the day that her brother had lost his life. She mentioned that she has not lost a brother but her brother was also a friend.
When Mdonso was approached about the death of her husband who married her in 2019, she said she’s not in a good state to speak and that the media should contact Mu Ngcolosi who’ll speak on behalf of the family.
When Mu was contacted he told the media that the family of Nathan Pottier asked the media to contact them directly about the issue. It was revealed that Mr Nathan Pottier who was a police at SAPS died on a car accident while being rushed to the hospital.
