Actress Gugu Gumede has broken her silence on the passing of her mom, politician Zanele kwaMagwaza-Msibi. KwaMagwaza-Msibi died last year in September after a long illness.

Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi was a South African politician who was the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of South Africa in the cabinet of Jacob Zuma. She was also President of the National Freedom Party.

 

Gugu Gumede is a South African actress born in the Province of Natal. She is well known for portraying the character of a prophetess, Mamlambo, in the soapie Uzalo. She has also recently announced that she is expecting her first child, although her partner is not well-known in the social spaces. The 30-year-old has also alluded that her pregnancy may be reaching its final trimester and that she is no longer coping with the tiredness that comes with being pregnant.

The actress has also not revealed the gender of her baby.
