How Bushiri illegally Used $1.25 Million Aircraft Status to Buy SA Residency

The are a number of ways to prove that you qualify for permanent residence as an investor. Bhushiri seems to have used the unconventional way to gain permanent residence in the country. According to a source he used aircraft he bought for $1.25 millon together with a bank statement which reflected the tithes of the the church members was contributing towards to convince the department of home affairs. The is a big difference between purchasing something for business purpose and personal use. Bushiri used the aircraft mainly for personal use instead or commercial use according to the department.


According to home affairs official the fact that Bushiri bought the aircraft for such a huge amount was suppose to immediately raise red flags.

Chief director of permits Ronney Marhule is in hot water. He is currently suspended for being negligence and non compliance with immigration act.

Marhhule was responsible for authorising Bushiri’s application for permanent resident in Sa. certain documents were still outstanding as they were left in Malawi were he come from. The department only manage to get hold of the documents in December 2019.

Bushiri is accused of using private jet and tithes as his net worth to gain permanent permanent residence in SA.

Money coming from a church tithes can’t be used as a source of investment.
