Previously, Funani found out Onalerona is his biological daughter. He decided to play dumb, he did not tell anyone. He did not even tell Nkosi, people found that a bit selfish because Nkosi was the one who told him about Onalerona possibly being Zobuhle.

Funani joined Isaac’s family for dinner, he was so interested to know more about Onalerona’s life. He found out that Rea is not Ona’s biological mother, he also found out that there is a woman called Naledi, that is Ona’s biological mother. He wanted to meet Naledi, he took her number from Isaac’s phone.

Funani finally engaged with Naledi, he asked her all the important questions. Naledi said she is not Ona’s biological mother, she was paid by Isaac to act like her mother. The dots were finally connecting for Mr Zwide, he paid Naledi. Back at home, Dorothy thought Funani would be back home with Mrs Zwide.

Latest, Funani is going to return home late, which made Faith question his whereabouts. Faith will eventually discover that Funani engaged with Naledi, Funani wants to take back his daughter from Isaac, in style/with evidence. Funani will probably tell his family the truth about Ona, after getting answers of the night Zobuhle disappeared.
