The actor we all love to hate grew up a brilliant child. Although he grew up in the ghetto, he was never rebellious; according to his interview with True Love magazine, he was his parent’s favourite child due to his good behaviour.

Vusi was lucky that his parents were wise, they discovered his talent in arts at a tender age, and they moulded it. They sent him to Shell Road to Fame School of the Arts for his matric. Shell Road to Fame School is one of the famous schools in South Africa which focuses on naturing young pupils who have talent in arts.

Vusi holds a degree in Drama and Arts. After excelling in his matric, Vusi registered at Wits School of Drama. He studied for four years to improve his acting skills and graduated in 1999.

After his graduation, Vusi started charming Mzansi with his unique way of keeping Mzansi glued to their screens. He won his first acting gig when he landed a role in Reverend Msimango, a South African short film filmed in 2003. Ever since his breakthrough, Vusi has been winning in his career and has several awards to show for it.
