Hlengiwe Mhlaba joins The River. Here is the character she will be playing

Getting an opportunity to showcase your talent is a blessing in disguise. There are those musicians who also have massive acting skills. Seems like the Gospel musician; Hlengiwe Mhlaba is one of those people who have talent in both l singing and acting.
 

 

 

 

 

 

Hlengiwe Mhlaba is a South African Gospel musician who is best known for her tracks; Sweet Jesus (2005), Sewakhile (2017), Remember me (2019) and so many more. This song bird is not only in Music Industry, she is also in Acting Industry, she usually appears on the SABC 1’s popular Zulu drama series; Uzalo playing her real identity character ‘Hlengiwe Mhlaba’.

The 1Magic’s Telenovela; The River has given this 48 year-old KwaMashu born star an opportunity to play on their set, she will be playing the character of ‘Aunt Jumayma’; Paulina’s aunt. The River’s Executive Producer; Phathutshedzo Makwarela recently shared the news on his Instagram page, he shared the video clip captioned: (check it out below)

Almost everyone is excited and congratulating Hlengiwe for such an amazing opportunity given to her. Clement Maosa who plays the role of Kwaito on Skeem saam also left a comment, says: “My favourite, I must visit The River very soon”.
