HHP’s Wife, Lerato Sengadi, called his family evil for not inviting him to his unveiling.

“I had zero say or input on his tombstone or inscription.” The late musician’s unveiling took place this past weekend at Matlalong at the Hero’s Acres in his hometown of Mahikeng.

HHP, whose real name is Jabulani Tsambo, paid Lobola for Sengadi, a powerful PR officer. The situation got so bad it ended in a court battle between the two parties. The death of HHP exposed serious cracks between her and his family.

HHP passed on in 2018, and it was suspected he had taken his own life. Last week Sengadi paid a beautiful tribute to him as she died every year since he passed.

Lerato says she wasn’t invited to her husband’s unveiling and only learnt of that event through social media.

She says she hasn’t seen his son Leano for four years, just like everyone on social media.

She said that she and her family had no idea that there was an unveiling for her husband.

Sengadi wrote on her Twitter page that she felt HHP’s family were evil and malicious, putting everything in God’s hands to handle.

HHP’s son Leano’s pictures have been making rounds on social media, and everyone has commented on how much he looks like his father.

Like his father, the young man is also trying to get involved in the music industry as a rapper. He paid tribute to his father at the unveiling and said he wished his father was around, especially now that he is trying to establish himself as a rapper like him.

He said he felt he had improved and wanted his father to witness that.

His father made a significant contribution to South African music. The award winner took the title at the Strictly Come Dancing competition in 2007, beating the likes of Candice Moodley and Quintus Jansen.

Sengadi shared a beautiful message on her Instagram page on the 24th of October.
“Every year when this day comes, I choose to celebrate ur life & what you are to so many of us.”

She thanked all of his fans for their continuous support for Jabba.

HHP shocked the world and the whole of Mzansi when he suddenly passed on, and the music industry has never recovered from the loss.

Lerato received messages of support from musicians like Sjava, Brenda Mntambo and Lebo Sekgobela. Actors like Khaya Dladla and Lerato Mvelase sent her love on her timeline.
