‘He’s too good for Uzalo’: Vuyo Dabula’s fans slam his latest role

Uzalo producers reveal that Bentley Majozi, played by Vuyo Dabula will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Dabula tells the publication that he nearly died after being involved in an incident, and he was forced to take a break.

“I was pretty much forced to take a break because I sustained injuries in a near death situation, I could not physically do much. I don’t talk much about personal things.”

“This must be something in the water because the whole production team is a great vibe, very welcoming and deeply supportive.”

He adds that he watched religiously and they’re an incredibly generous cast and easy people to work with.

Dabula’s new role comes after Uzalo actor Wiseman Mncube, who’s been with the soapie from season five to nine as Sibonelo exits the show to join Mzansi Magic’s upcoming telenovela, My Brother’s Keeper.

VUYO DABULA: FANS REACT TO LATEST ROLE
@KhumaloDanica: “He needs the money. I had the same thoughts when I read that he is joining Uzalo. Am sorry but it’s way below him.”

@SperaDidiza: “Actors gotta eat too! soapies can actually be a great gig for actors in South Africa. They give them a steady paycheck and lots of exposure. And who knows, maybe Vuyo Dabula will still do movies and series while he’s on Uzalo. Let’s support our actors in whatever they choose to do!”

@Moneze_: “Limited content that suits him for the Movies and Series. Also, is it possible that there is possibly more money here than in those roles?”
