Nadia Nakai Dlamini born 18 May 1990, is a Zimbabwean-South African rapper and television personality.

Nakai made her first television appearance on the etv hip hop show Shiz Niz where she won the Mixtape 101 competition, making her the first female to win the competition. She then rose to prominence in September 2013, when she released her debut single Like Me. The following year, she was featured on the remix of Ricky Rick song, Amantombazane amongst various South African acts.

Meanwhile, AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes and her family were rooting for his girlfriend and fellow rapper Nadia Nakai as she returned to work.

Nadia returned to work at the weekend, performing and hosting events in Pretoria and Johannesburg. At one of the events, she sang one of AKA’s latest songs, Dangerous, which featured her and Blckie, and performed to Jika, featuring Yanga.

However, she again opened up last week about her struggles with coming to terms with AKA’s death. AKA was shot and killed outside a Durban restaurant last month.
