The South African Film and Television awards (SAFTAs) was held last night. Here are some of the winners from the event.

Manaka Ranaka wins best actress in a TV soap for her role in Generations The Legacy. Etv’s Scandal also won big as they bagged 3 awards. Jerry Mofokeng waMakheta won best supporting actor in a TV soap for his role as bra Neo, Thabo Malema won best actor in a TV soap, and Natasha Sutherland won best supporting actress for her role as Layla Mckenzie.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bonko Khoza won best actor in a telenovela for his role as Mqhele Zulu on The wife. Abdul Khoza wins best supporting actor for his role as Nqobi Zulu on the wife.

Diep city wins best Telenovela and Thobani Dlomo Nzuza wins best actor in a TV drama for his role on Diep city.
