South African actress Yola Plaatjie who became a household name when she landed a job as Dr Jack on the hit medical drama series Durban Gen’s occupation in real life, has fans talking. Dr Jack is a first-year intern at the hospital who is studying medicine on a scholarship and is the most hard-working and compassionate of all the other interns at the hospital. Her mother, a role played by actress Tina Jaxa, had to come and try to make Jack see reason and accept her sister was long gone.Dr Jack is a bookworm who loves to study and do a lot of research on medical cases that she faces on the job, so she always finds ways to crack her cases. Recently she found herself stealing the heart of a co-worker and nurse at the hospital, Calvin, who is in love with her. At the same time, her examinations are fast approaching, and she has to study for them as she doesn’t want to fail her finals.
