The holidays are officially over and slowly but surely we are getting back to normal. This year our school kids are starting the year early and 12 January 2022 is the date!

As mzansi we salute the little ones as they start their schooling journey in the new year and we hope that they will learn and have fun with their friends.

Some parents were celebrating this morning because they finally have freedom in the house for a couple of hours. Other parents are super emotional and we’re crying this morning because of the empty nest. Every parent is different and some need a break, others have a fear of letting go! Or maybe it’s your little one’s first time at school. Either way, this morning was very busy for most households.

On social media, there are a few celebrities who made our day by sharing heartfelt images of their babies first day of the year back at school. Isn’t it wonderful to see your little one growing every year in front of your eyes until they become a man or a woman.
