Zodwa Wabantu is considered one of the most famous celebrities in the country. She rose to fame in the mid 2010s and has not looked back ever since. Her work as a “vibe creator” and a dancer in the entertainment industry has earned her a lavish lifestyle and has even seen her starring in her own reality show.

 

But the celebrity has recently left millions of her fans saddened and heartbroken, after prominent news networks dropped a heavy bombshell. According to various media reports, Zodwa Wabantu is allegedly now broke and without much to her name. These allegations were further fueled by her recent event photos were she looked a bit out of shape and not properly cared for. This is what the South African celebrity had to say for herself:

“These rumors are obviously not true, but i cannot shy away from the fact that the bookings are not as before. I am not a flashy person, I have always lived according to my size, and if need be I will downsize further more.” Said the entertainer as she tried to dismiss the rumours.

Zodwa Wabantu has always been the one to generate controversy; and using it to her advantage. From selling eggs on the streets, to venturing into traditional healing undergoing what is called “Uk’thwasa”- people are waiting in anticipation as to what she will pull out of her magic hat.

With the current increase in competition from individuals such as Queen Minaj, things can only go from bad to worse- and her fans have begun putting her in their prayers; rooting for her to get through this current rough patch.
