What happened between DJ Maphorisa and Thuli Phongolo?

Last month DJ Maphorisa allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Thuli Phongolo who laid charges against him. After this dramatic incident DJ Maphorisa was kept in custody. He applied for a bail where he was successful.

However, before the prosecution unfolded Thuli Phongolo withdraw charges against Maphorisa. She went on to release a statement where she urged that everybody should mind their own business and that what happens behind the closed doors is entirely their business.
