Gabisile Tshabalala, born on June 20, 1990, is a South African actress, presenter, and singer who has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. She garnered widespread recognition for her role as Pinkie Mojeki in the SABC2 drama series “Hola Mpintshi.”

Growing up in Soshanguve, Pretoria, under the care of her grandparents, Gabisile’s upbringing was shaped by a strong family foundation. Her journey into the entertainment world began to take shape during her primary school days when her mother remarried, and her stepfather’s outgoing nature played a pivotal role in boosting her confidence.

After completing her matriculation successfully, Gabisile initially pursued her dream of becoming an air hostess by enrolling at ATS Helicopters. However, her path soon took a turn when she discovered her passion for performing. She honed her acting skills at the State Theatre in Pretoria, driven by her desire to excel in the world of theatre.

 

 

 

Despite pursuing a pilot career briefly on her mother’s advice, Gabisile’s heart remained firmly in the world of theatre. She embraced the world of acting wholeheartedly and made the pivotal decision to focus on her acting career full-time, leaving behind her pilot aspirations.

Her determination and talent led her to audition for “Hola Mpintshi,” a SABC youth drama series, where she landed the role of Pinkie, the main character. This marked her big breakthrough, propelling her into the spotlight and opening doors for her in the entertainment industry.
