She joined Alexandra’s Squints Artists Community Theatre Group to feed her acting craze. A few months after starring in The Virus and Let’Let’sk About Aids at The Market Theatre Laboratory Annual Festival, she became the next big thing in theatre plays. She, like those before her, spent at least two years in theatre before breaking into small screens.

In 1998, she landed a job in Soul City, which was her big break. She became the showrunners’ darling in the midst of her first job. She appeared in Rhythm City, Isidingo, and Yizo Yizo, among other soap operas. She went on to star in a number of films after leaving soaps. She is, however, one of the few actresses who has appeared in over 24 productions, ranging from soapes is to theater.
