Happy end to difficult week for Pitso Mosimane!

Pitso Mosimane’s Al Wahda picked up an important league victory this weekend after defeating Ajman 1-0.

Mosimane was hospitalised earlier during the week after suffering from ‘shortness of breath’.

Thankfully, the legendary South African coach’s recovery was swift and his illness was not as serious as originally perceived. Though he wasn’t part of the action this weekend, Mosimane is on the mend at home.

Pitso Mosimane’s side picked up a second victory on the bounce this weekend, to lift his side to fifth on the log standings! Both Mamelodi Sundowns and Wydad Casablanca are guaranteed to walk away with a minimum of R55 million after qualifying for the final.

The loser of the final will earn R55 million while the champions will walk away with a massive R75 million!“I am on my knees, and I bow my head every night. I pray and ask God to perform miracles. The same miracles He performed, my prayer to Him is just perform one more.” – Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rhulani Mokwena said as quoted by IOL.

“My prayer is that He resurrects and brings back Lucas (Riberiro Costa), Peter (Shalulile) and Thapelo (Morena) as soon as possible, because for sure, they make a difference.

“It’s the same as when we played Al Ahly (in the Caf Champions League at the beginning of the year), and we created five chances and we (Mamelodi Sundowns) scored all five of those.“
