Pearl Modiadie’s has been presenting for over a decade but she was once a shy child.

She overcame her lack of confidence after she was thrust into the spotlight after a chance encounter with a casting agent.

Since making her debut as a teenager, Pearl has gained millions of adoring fans – 2.3 million on Instagram alone – and some have gone to great lengths to impress her.

An aspiring singer named Jack wrote a song about her.

Pearl Modiadie’s career in the entertainment industry began when a casting agent spotted her as a teen and asked her to be an extra on a show.

Pearl’s first big TV break took place on the set of children’s programme, Craze. The e.TV show helped make her a star. She went on to produce and present another popular show on the channel, Sistahood.
