Guess Who Was Spotted Driving A Taxi In Tshwane?

Former president Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane Zuma surprised some commuters in Tshwane when he was spotted driving a taxi to Mamelodi high school.

Duduzane Zuma was moving with his convoy, but from Tshwane regional mall, he was driving a taxi with some passengers inside on his way to the Mamelodi high school where he spend some time engaging with the learners.

Those who were part of his entourage were wearing shirts printed DZ22 at the back which is a campaign Duduzane Zuma is undertaking on.

The visit of Duduzane Zuma to the Mamelodi township sparked mixed reactions on social media. Some are applauding him for this initiative of getting closer to the young people, but others are taking swipe at him saying those high school pupils will not vote.

“Please also tour tertiary institutions. School kids cannot vote. Plus the department of education is looking after the them. People aged between 18-35 need you the most. We are paid low wages and many are unemployed. We need the Zuma administration policies as the middle class,” some said.

Duduzane Zuma’s tour in Tshwane however coincided with the ANC policy conference which is being held until Sunday, and some social critics said it seems Duduzane is not part of the Kwa-Zulu Natal delegates at the conference.

It is however not clear yet if Duduzane Zuma is not at the policy conference because he was one of the delegates at the Kwa-Zulu Natal provincial conference which saw the Talibans, an RET aligned grouping paralysing the faction which is aligned to president Cyril Ramaphosa.

“I see you didn’t make it in the Kwa-Zulu Natal top six or Provincial Executive Committee membership Chief, are they saving you for the national elective conference? Others inquired.

Duduzane Zuma has been visiting several schools and donating gadgets to help pupils catch up with technology as the world is already in the fourth industrial revolution with advanced technology.
