At the weekend’s Ultra Music Festival held at the Exhibition Centre in Johannesburg, Costa Titch passed unexpectedly after collapsing twice and falling off the stage.

Actress Ntando Duma posted a note from the Tsobanoglous family on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, revealing that the memorial service had been postponed so that Costa Titch’s adoring followers, known as the Titch Gang, may attend and pay their condolences.

“With deep sadness, we must notify you that Costa Titch’s Monument will be moved. Due to the short notice, some Titch Gang fans nationwide and throughout the world who would have loved to participate in this are regrettably unable to do so.

As we all know, Costa was a champion of inclusivity and unity. He would have loved for everyone he loved and who supported him to be there, according to the statement announcing the postponement.

The family also announced that it will soon confirm new dates and disclose venue information. They also apologized for any trouble they may have caused and expressed gratitude for all the support they had received throughout this trying time.

In the meantime, the police said that an inquest had been launched to ascertain Costa Titch’s cause of death. According to a police statement that was released on SABC News, a postmortem will be used to identify the rapper’s cause of death.
