Gomora cast members celebrate Thembi Seete True Love Magazine Cover deal in a glamorous event

Thembi Seete, a South African actress who plays the role of Gladys Dlamini on Gomora, is the True Love Magazine poster girl for their February/ March 2022 issue. Celebrating her success, Thembi Seete threw a party attended by close family members and Gomora cast members, notably Mazet, Mrs. Hlungwani, and Zodwa.

On Gomora, Thembi Seete plays the role of Gladys Dlamini; a social worker married to highly respected Melusi Dlamini, a principal at Gomora High School. She plays mother to Ntokozo (Ntobeko Sishi) and guardian to Teddy, whose mother Zodwa is a struggling alcoholic and her high school friend.

Over the Gomora storyline, Gladys struggles with her husband’s infidelity and her childhood friends’ struggle with alcohol. Melusi rekindled his relationship with childhood lover Thathi who previously dumped him to marry a wealthy banker Mbongeni Ndaba.

Thathi’s return to Gomora disturbed Gladys’ peace as she watched her family lose its leader in Melusi. Despite all the challenges, Gladys excelled in her job as a social worker and earned the Mother Theresa nickname for the nonselective application of her job.

Born on 25 March 1977 in Soweto, Gauteng, Thembi Seete was raised by a single mother, the late Rebecca Seete. She was introduced to fame as an artist when she joined the Kwaito outfit Boom Shaka in 1994. She made her film debut at 23 years when she featured on Hijack Stories in a minor role.
