Siyabonga Zubane

The sudden passing of Gomora rising star has left fans of the telenovela in absolute shock, the sad news were made public by his family on Saturday. As much as fans are saddened by the news, his co stars are still processing his death. Well known actress Sana Mchunu who portrays the role of Zodwa on Gomora decided to open up.

The actress posted on her Facebook page in her Zulu language, she stated how devastated she was. Sana went on to say the late Siyabonga Zubane was always full of jokes, they couldn’t tell he was struggling emotionally. She praised his talents and how respectful he was.

“Inhliziyo yami ibuhlungu kakhulu ntwanaYami..wen I checked i wrap order yethu espanini ngajabula ukuthi etransportini sesihamba sonke uthuthele ekasi…little dd I know ukuthi uzosindelwa kakhulu mase ungapha ekasi …ubusihlekisa njalo besingaboni nokuthi awukho mnandi emoyeni…Lala uphumule mfanaWami..usiphazamise kakhulu emoyeni..ubuhlonipha ngendlela emangazayo..umuhle futhi uzithanda..silahlekelwe kakhulu eGomora…italente elingaka Sdumo..”

The Director at MNet Shirley Adonisi also offered her condolences to family and friends of Siyabonga Zubane.

” Mzansi Magic is saddened to learn about the passing of the talented Siyabonga Zubane. His debut TV role in 2017, was on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Isibaya playing Bhungezi.

 

 

 

 
Recently, the young actor played Sdumo on Gomora which resonated with him well as he was born in the township of Alexandra.
