Gogo Maweni is one of Mzansi’s powerful Sangomas. She hails from Sandton in Gauteng province and she is in her 30s. Her real name is Makgotso Lee-Anne Makopo and she is a mother of two sons whom she have with two different men, an actor and a former soccer star.

She calls herself umthakhathi because she is not ashamed of the things she does with her supernatural powers. She pride herself in bewitching men who do not support their children, and women who snatch other people’s husbands. She promotes cleansing and have produced different kinds of muthis to help with that.

 

 

 

She recently posted a picture of herself on Facebook with the caption, ” Mama wa the boys”. Somebody then commented saying Gogo loves English so much suggesting that she should have just said ‘Ma wa Bafana’. Gogo replied saying she is not Zulu and she is not bothered as long as she got her point across.
