Gogo Maweni Announces That She Is Pregnant

Renowned traditional healer and reality TV personality, Lee-Anne, known as “Gogo Maweni” Mokopo, has revealed that she is expecting.

Lee-Anne, who goes by the name “Gogo Maweni,” has candidly discussed using in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive children with her spouse, Sabelo Magube.

According to Mayo Clinic, IVF is a complex set of procedures aimed at assisting fertility, addressing genetic concerns, and aiding in child conception.

Gogo Maweni already has three children: a son from a previous relationship with an unidentified American man, a second son with actor Sthembiso Khoza, and another child with former soccer star Siyabonga Zulu.

In a conversation with DJ Sbu on The Hustlers Corner, the esteemed traditional healer revealed her pregnancy news, disclosing that she and her husband are expecting twins.

“We’re soon going to welcome two more babies. We’re expecting twins. We initially intended to keep this a secret until the baby bump became noticeable,” she shared.

“We’ve put in significant effort, as our hard work is geared towards affording certain things. IVF played a role in our journey. The process involves the removal of eggs in the first month, then a repeat procedure in the second month, followed by implantation. I approached a gynecologist, sought a referral for IVF, and here we are today.”

Given her high profile, Gogo Maweni’s relationship with her spouse has been subject to public scrutiny, leading to rumors of marital discord.

While commemorating their anniversary at Zuma Restaurant in early April, Gogo Maweni reflected on their relationship and expressed their unwavering commitment to its success.

“Despite predictions of a gloomy outcome, we’ve defied those expectations. Tears have been shed, but the end is nowhere in sight. I’m indifferent to the opinions of social media,” she shared.Gogo Maweni asserted that she and her husband are currently in a positive phase and enjoying their relationship.
