DJ Stokie, real name Setoki Mbatha, set social media abuzz after he recently shared photos of his new car on social media.

The celebrated DJ is the latest Amapiano star to break the bank for a lush ride after Tyler ICU splurged millions on his new Mercedes-Benz.

Congratulatory messages flooded the muso’s Instagram after he revealed that he had bought a new car. The DJ shared a series of photos of his new red Mercedes-Benz V300d.

Undoubtedly, the V-Class model is one of the most preferred models of the Mercedes-Benz by artists because they are always travelling.

The pictures have since gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped.Celebrities and followers congratulated the muso on his new purchase, with many convinced it was his time to shine.

However, little is known about how much the DJ splurged on the German beast, but the least priced V300d costs R1.5 million.

Rumour mill has it that the new purchase is an addition to his impressive car collection that screams luxury. Unconfirmed reports have it that he also has a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

DJ Stokie had his shot at fame in 2006 when he was a finalist in the 2006 edition of Mad Half Hour. In 2019 he dropped his single AmaInternational.

Over the years, he has spoken about his woes and life before fame. In one of his interviews, he said he used to get booking fees of R150 to play the whole weekend.

But years later, he is one of the most booked DJs, and his services don’t come anywhere cheap.
