‘Giving Ayanda Ncwane’: Minnie makes ‘petty’ TV clapback at Khune ‘joke

Minnie Dlamini has jokingly apologised to ex-boyfriend Itumeleng Khune after fans called her out for insulting the Kaizer Chiefs veteran player last week.

But her humour on the social media storm has backfired after the public claimed her actions were “painful to watch.”

The TV presenter made headlines after she seemingly mocked the soccer star, who she dated several years ago.

Last week, Minnie Dlamini was accused of shading Itu Khune in an episode of her TV show Curated By Tanqueray,

In a clip that went viral, the mom-of-one dramatically said of her ex: “No man, Khune doesn’t still play.”

When a crew member claimed that the famous star played as recently as the latest Soweto Derby, she added with much shock: “He STILL plays.”After trending for mocking the successful Kaizer Chiefs player, Minnie addressed her social media storm. But instead of showing any remorse, Minnie reacted with much sarcasm.

She said in a new episode: “After learning what a joke was from me last week, the socials went on to make that joke trend. All I can say is [laughing, making money gesture]

“I don’t have anything to say about this situation. I just ask that you respect my privacy. I’m also just under a lot of stress.

“In the words of influencer Mihlali Ndamase: ‘I’m so tired of carrying this industry on my back.’”
