Rapper Gigi Lamayne heartbroken over sad news.

South African rapper Gigi Lamayne weighs on suicide, this comes after a recent suicide from an unexpected person. A number of people have attempted suicide, whilst some some failed in taking their lives we have a number of people who have unfortunately succeeded in taking their lives. Over the years the media has been covering deaths of prominent people who hold certain positions in our society who have also fell victim to ending one’s life. This proves that mental illness and life challenges do not discriminate.

 

 

 

Genesis Gabriella Tina Manney who’s famously known by her stage name Gigi Lamayne, tweeted earlier today about a recent passing of a close friend. The rapper was visible shaken from her tweet as she couldn’t make sense of the passing of her friend who seemed to have everything going on for themselves. She stated that her late friend was a writer and a motivational speaker she went on to add that the new pandemic is suicide.

“Woke up to news that one of my university mates took his life last night . A motivational speaker and writer. It don’t make sense… The new pandemic is suicide… a silent genocide… lurking in the struggles of the youth. Slowly emerging … the fire is becoming uncontrollable.”

She shared her tweet on Facebook followed by broken hearts and a question to the youth of the country.

Followers of the star were quick to give out their opinions regarding suicide and mental health.

Earlier this week a number of fans had to say their condolences to a rapper known as Tumi Tladi who had a promising future in the music industry. It was announced that Tladi ended his life after leaving a cryptic tweet.
