Viewers of SABC1 Television show Uzalo are starting to fall in love with Liyana a character played by Mandisa Ngwane, But other Viewers are waiting to see what Liyana is actually up to.

On two interviews that this super talented actress had live on her Instagram accounts yesterday, she revealed alot about herself that most people might have not known, from her acting career and her real life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mandisa was born and bred in Petermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal Province. She said she new from a very young age that she will be a TV star. She started acting at the age of 4 where they did sketches at church.

Her father is a Preacher that’s why she used to perform Bible sketches in Church, imitating Jesus stories and scenarios. She has appeared in some other TV shows but her current job at Uzalo might be her biggest break.

Mandisa is currently studying at Durban University of Technology, Steve Biko campus where she’s doing Drama. She’s classmates with Omega Mncube who played Phelelani on Uzalo and they are good friends.

She also revealed some of the things she’s not okay with that people do when they meet her. She’s not okay with people who know her calling her by her character Liyana instead of her real name, but she doesn’t mind if fans call her by her character name because they’re not familiar with the real Mandisa.

Mandisa told people to keep watching Uzalo as Liyana is about to cause alot of drama. She said Liyana would stick around on the show for some time.
