Nomcebo zikode biography: A Great in the making

 

 

 

Nomcebo is a South African singer, songwriter and performer as well she made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2003 when she appeared on the talent search that was being run by khozi FM.

Her most recent hit which she wrote with master KG, Jerusalem has helped her on the road becoming one of the greatest musicians.

Before Jerusalem a lot of people didn’t know who she was, but thanks to the song she has received love and support from fans all around the world.

Nomcebo is 27 years old, she was born in 1994. The start was born In hammersdale in KwaZulu-Natal, she later on in life relocated to Johannesburg where she stays up to date.

The singer is married to Selwyn Fraser, son of the legendary mam’Deborah Fraser. The couple has three beautiful children together. Luyanda, ziyanda and mnotho Fraser.

When she was on that talent show by ukhozi fm in 2003, she became the winner and the few of the runner ups were, nhlanhla nciza, zoleka and Zahara.

She was signed as an artist under open mic records and this was the beginning of her solo career.

Nomcebo then released her afro house single Imizwa yam, which gained her a lot of recognition. She worked on the songs with bongo beat and it became and instant success.

She has worked with the likes of Dj Ganyane, Mobi Dixon, professor, master chengFu and examining lounges.Her time in the industry we have seen nomcebo doing nothing but releasing best music that has been keeping fans on the dance floor.

Her biggest hit to date, however came when nomcebo worked with master Kg on a global hit jerusalema.

Jerusalema which is a gospel track had everyone dancing during the pandemic, the track helped People take their minds off sad moments.
