which translates to Divine Consciousness) which is considered the source of all that has been,

the qualities of a star in the rising, unparalleled and unstoppable. Being the first of three

Though new to her role as a solo artist, she’s no “mafik’izolo” to the performing arts industry.

Her father’s family band was only her beginning. After she completed her Music Performance

Diploma with Central Johannesburg College she went on to play leading roles in quality

productions such as Umoja, Soweto Spiritual Singers as led by Vicky Vilakazi, Lebo M’s Lion King,

and many more. She has also collaborated with music industry greats such as Dorothy Masuku,

Abigail Khubeka, Zahara, Thandiswa Mazwai, Khanyo Maphumulo, Kholeka Sosibo, and Sayi

Ntuli, whilst travelling extensively across the African diaspora: Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Nigeria,

to name a few, and even toured across Europe, the UK, Scotland, and London. Her soulful cry of

instruction in the well televised commercial Ad as commissioned by the National Department of

Health, “Phila!” is simply amazing.

With a permanent beaming smile brightening her well rounded pretty face, she quickly

quips, ”Mina I was born to sing umthetho wam’. Ngiyacula! I’m a natural born performer,

nokugida ngiyagida and I love it!”

Imbued with a special sense of aural excellence and songwriting skills, coupled with her resolve

to further pursue the exciting world of music production, quality conscious music lovers are set

for a treat with the arrival of this awesome princess of contemporary Zulu music. Her single,

“Emnqeni” which is a lovely combo of urban, Zulu culture successfully fused with a positive

message to appeal to a wide scope of an inter-generational mix of music audiences, with no

compromise to quality, is bound to set the music scene on fire and is already enjoying

reasonably positive reviews across all media and audience platforms. Her second song in her

offering, “Ithemba Lam’” is an infectious love song that allows love birds the luxury of words

when even words fail to express, with a kind, yet compelling loving tone of spirit. This offering is

set to catapult this musical genius into instant international Superstardom

Featured in the current hit song “iDlozi Lami” by DJ Obza, which has gained all together about

15,000,000 streams, views, hashtags, shares, etc. across social media platforms, it is clear that

this African Princess is about to take the music scene by storm! Her recent performance of

iDlozi Lami on the show Live Amp on SABC 1 is another display of her virtuosity both as a
