Tsholofelo Matshaba (born July 4, 1983) is a South African actress. She is best known for playing devious Meme on the SABC 2 soap opera Muvhango. Her role as detective Jasmine in the series Kings of Joburg further thrust her into the limelight.

The actress has appeared in many theater productions and television shows. She has acted in Born in the RSA 2, Melodies of Love, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Lion King, Soweto Story, Aladdin, and Robinson Crusoe.Matshaba enrolled at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2002. She graduated with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2004.
Tsholofelo has starred in some television productions, such as the SABC2 sitcom Skwizas. She played the demanding, rebellious niece of Mmane, played by Lillian Dube.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In 2015, she played Molahlegi in season four of the SABC 1 drama soap opera Skeem Saam.

In August 2015, Tsholofelo played the lead character Keneilwe in the SABC2 family drama series Mamello. Her character was an idealistic teacher who moved to a new school. She falls in love with a teacher in the same school.
The actress played the starring role of the queen’s younger sister Odirile in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Throne.

Tsholofelo Matshaba married Chris Matshaba in Ramokokastad on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Her partner was a radio host and DJ at Motsweding FM.

Their marriage lasted barely three years until her spouse died from illness in 2018. She is presently residing in Johannesburg.Tsholofelo dated Dingaan Mokebe, who played James in the SABC 2 drama Muvhango. They started real life after playing love parts on TV.

She fell pregnant and had a daughter with Dingaan while they were dating. Their love connection ended in a public dispute, with both sides making accusations and assertions.

Tsholofelo described the relationship as abusive, while Dingaan claimed she denied him access to their child.
